LG Innotek has finished construction on a new TFT-LCD module plant in Gumi, Korea, with production set to start in the third quarter of 2005. LG Innotek already has a TFT-LCD module plant in Yantai, China. Furthermore, LG Innotek sold its Yangsan production site in June, moving the plant's equipment to its production plant in Gwangju, where LEDs, tuners and camera modules are produced. The company plans to expand its camera module production capacity to two million units per month.
